Disclosing paid posts
The caption we provide contains the business name and your link. If you're required to make clear that a post is paid, you're responsible for doing so on every post.
Which taps are paid
A tap is paid when it comes from a real person, on a device that hasn't already tapped the same link within the repeat window, from a location consistent with your registered county, and within the limits shown on your account. Some taps are held for review and paid if they clear.
Taps you make yourself, taps from devices you control and automated taps aren't paid, and may lead to your account being closed.
Getting paid
Earnings become available after a settlement period. The settlement period and the minimum withdrawal are shown on your earnings screen and may change. We verify your identity before your first withdrawal, and you can post and earn in the meantime.
Withdrawals are sent to the M-Pesa number on your account. If a payment fails, we retry it automatically and show every attempt on your earnings screen. If it keeps failing, our team takes it over.
Account holds
Automated checks can place an account on hold. While your account is on hold, you aren't paid and can't take new campaigns. Every hold is reviewed by a person, only a person can lift it, and you can see it on your account screen.
For businesses
What you pay for
You pay for taps on your campaign's links that pass our checks. We don't measure replies, conversations or sales, and we never read WhatsApp messages. What happens after a customer contacts you is between you and them.
Funding and fees
Our fee is deducted when you fund a campaign, and the rest becomes the campaign budget. The fee percentage is shown before you confirm. If the fee doesn't divide into whole shillings, the remainder stays in the budget.
A campaign ends when its budget can't cover another tap or when its end date passes. Unspent budget returns to your balance and can be used for another campaign. To withdraw it to M-Pesa, contact us.
If a tap is later confirmed as fraudulent, it's refunded to your campaign. You don't pay for fraud.
What you can advertise
A real business, a genuine offer and a WhatsApp number you control. Unlawful content, impersonating another business, or anything a promoter would reasonably object to posting isn't allowed and will result in the account being closed.
For everyone
We may change rates, time windows and limits. Your screens always show the current values, and a change never applies to money you've already earned or spent.
Accounts are personal: one person, one account, with your own M-Pesa number and identity.
