Terms

These are the rules of the platform, in the same words used everywhere else on it. They apply from the moment you create an account. Last updated 29 August 2026.

If you post for businesses

Every post carries the disclosure line

The caption the platform gives you ends with a line saying the post is paid for. It is added by the platform and it is not optional. Posting a link without it breaks these terms, and a confirmed breach closes the account. This is not a house rule: telling people a recommendation is paid for is what the law requires of you, and the platform adds the line so you never have to remember it.

You are paid for taps that pass the checks

A tap is paid when it comes from a real person, on a device that has not already tapped the same link inside the repeat window, from a place consistent with the county you registered, and inside the limits shown on your account. Taps that fail a check are not paid. Some are held while a person looks at them, and if they clear, they pay.

Taps you make yourself, taps from devices you control, and taps produced by any tool rather than a person are not paid and are grounds for closing the account.

When money reaches you

Earnings settle before they can be sent. The settling period and the smallest amount that will be sent are both shown on your earnings screen and can change; the screen always shows what is true now. Your identity is checked by a person before your first payment leaves, and you can post and earn while that is happening.

Money is sent to the M-Pesa number on your account. If a payment fails, it is retried automatically on a published schedule and you are told each time. If it fails twice, a person takes it over.

If your account is put on hold

Automatic checks can put an account on hold. While it is on hold you are not paid and cannot take new campaigns. A person reviews every hold against a deadline, and only a person can lift one. You are told when a hold starts.

If you are a business

What you are buying

You are buying taps on your link that pass the platform's checks. You are not buying replies, conversations, or sales, and the platform does not measure them: it never reads WhatsApp messages, so it would have nothing to count. What a customer does after they arrive is between you and them.

Your money

The platform fee is taken from money as it arrives and the rest becomes the pool your campaign pays promoters from. The fee percentage is shown before you move money into a campaign. Where the fee does not divide into whole shillings, the remainder stays in the pool.

A campaign closes when its pool can no longer pay for one more tap or when its time runs out, whichever happens first. Money left in a closed campaign returns to your platform balance and can be spent on another campaign. It is not taken and it is not automatically sent back to M-Pesa; if you want it off the platform, ask and a person handles it.

A tap that is later confirmed as fraud is refunded to your campaign before your campaign is reported to you. You do not pay for fraud.

What you may advertise

A real business, a real offer, and a WhatsApp number you control. Anything unlawful, anything pretending to be another business, and anything a promoter would be embarrassed to have their name against is not allowed and ends the account.

Both sides

The platform can change the rates, windows and limits described on your screens. The screens always show what is true at that moment, and a change never applies backwards to money you have already earned or already spent.

Accounts are personal. One person, one account, and the M-Pesa number and identity on it must be your own.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. How your personal information is handled is set out separately, on the privacy page.
